you learn a lot by watching things eat

i just watched film of a bobo chick in the galapagos push its sibling out of the nest to its certain death. the film showed the footage of the chick's last few breaths.

bobos always have two chicks, but the mother can only raise one. one chick always pushes its sibling out to its certain death.

i challenge all that think that there is a god with a plan for all living things to explain how things like this fit into that plan. this is an evolutionary device and another example of nature's cruel and heartless selection. nature throughs life away carelessly every day.

on destruction

someone said to me the other day... how do you not see order in the world, and see how that order reflects God?

and then i watched a video about tornados and dead boy scouts. if there is a god, or any order to the universe planned by an intelligent being, clearly the randomness of life is strong evidence otherwise. this would be interesting to get into with someone... if only someone would start...

anyway... someone argue with me...

also... party on aug 16.
